Constantine I, 307/310-337. Follis (Bronze, 17 mm, 3.85 g, 7 h), a contemporary imitation of an issue from Treveri, after 319. IMP CONSTA-NTINVS MAX AVG Laureate, helmeted and cuirassed bust of Constantine I to right. Rev. VICTOPIHE LHETAE PRINC PIHI / ✱ / PTR Two victories holding shield inscribed VOΔ / PA over altar. Cf. RIC 224 (obverse prototype) and RIC 215 (reverse prototype). A lovely imitation with light green patina. Very fine.
